Howard University — Warner Music/Blavatnik Center for Music and Entertainment Business Fellowship Program
Washington, D.C. In March 2021, the Howard University School of Business announced a $4.9 million gift from Warner Music Group and the Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund. Howard, one of the nation’s most prestigious historically Black colleges and universities, used the gift to create a new music and entertainment program fellowship within its business school. “This gift honors the historic legacy Black people have made in the industry while making a crucial investment in today’s students who will become the leaders of tomorrow,” said Howard University president Wayne A. I. Frederick.
