Blavatnik Award Winners Presented Their Research at a Special Symposium at the Israel Academy

On Monday, June 3, 2024, the Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in Israel Symposium was held at the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Jerusalem. The symposium was attended by the 2024 Blavatnik Award winners: Dr. Sraga Shwartz, winner of the Life Sciences award; Dr. Moran Shalev-Benami, winner of the Chemistry award; and Prof. Thomas Vidick, winner of the Physics and Engineering award.

Exploring the World Beyond Queens

The Fresh Air Fund aims to enroll thousands of New York City children from low-income families in its various programs. A donation of $5,971 supports one participant in the yearlong Career Awareness Program, and $3,138 sends one to camp for a two-week session. The fund hopes to raise about $12 million this year. Since 2014, the Blavatnik Family Foundation has supported the Fresh Air Fund through annual donations.
