The program begins at 2:00 PM with Refuseniks and Activists: Actions and Consequences, a roundtable featuring Gennady Estraikh, Samuel Finkelman, Shaul Kelner, and Alexandra Zborovsky on the global movement for Soviet Jewish “Refuseniks,” followed at 3:30 PM by Zvi Gitelman’s reflection, How Do We Know What “Really” Happened?, exploring how archives help disentangle fact from distortion.
