Blavatnik Family Foundation Supports Tel Aviv Students Called Up For IDF Reserve Duty

TAU

The Foundation has recently given $200,000 to Tel Aviv University (TAU) to provide academic support to students called up for IDF reserve duty.

The donation builds on a previously announced $1 million fund supporting TAU students serving in the IDF and will help ensure that they remain current with their classes upon returning to university.

The Foundation is a proud, long-time supporter of TAU, having provided $65 million to the university since 2014.  Foundation donations have, among other things, created the Blavatnik Initiative, a multi-year program to advance interdisciplinary scientific research and development, the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (in partnership with the Israel National Cyber Directorate), and the Blavatnik School of Computer Science.
